In Ms. Ashley's science class, students created their own rollercoasters today. They used marbles as the "cars". They had to identify where the kinetic and potential energy was as the marbles traveled down the track. They were challenged to add multiple hills and loops and how changing the height and size of the marble affected the ride down.

5th graders at NES are learning about significant entrepreneurs on American society and the importance of an assembly line. Groups worked together to create a wrapped candy treat. Everyone enjoyed a Hershey Kiss for their hard work and effort!!
Wednesday, September 18th is Fall Picture Day.....Wear your smile!
Ms. Ashley's class has been exploring food chains. Today they were able to create a food chain using pudding as the environment, green sprinkles as the producers, animal crackers, gummy bears and gummy worms for the carnivores and herbivores.
Our afternoon KEYS program is loving KEYS.

2nd grade is having a great time on the STEAM bus this week! They are investigating how sound waves and vibrations travels through different objects.
5th grade students designed, constructed, and tested a trampoline using five materials on the STEAM bus this week.
We had a great morning learning about bus safety from Buster the Bus!
